Whatever the Weather

"Whatever the Weather"

What do you do when the weather’s some times hot, some times cold, and some times just right? Find the right outfit to fit the unreliable weather, of course!

"Whatever the Weather"

Simplicity goes a long way–so long as it’s also the right fit. For example, in this ensemble, Jeremy is wearing a Bench Body tee without any designs. It’s just blue. But because the shirt size is just right for his body type, it doesn’t matter that there are no statements emblazoned across the tee. What matters is that Jeremy is comfortable with the shirt.

We make up for the simplicity of the shirt with a bit of pomp on the shorts though. We found this pair of ‘Aztec Shorts’ at a bazaar at Eton Centris from a brand called Third Street Clothing. And they have it in many colors. Which you can find on their Facebook page, alongside the snapbacks they’re also selling.

As Summer comes to its end, we’re going to start featuring back-to-the-grind outfits again. But before we do, we want to know what looks worked best for you this Summer!

T-Shirt: Bench Body; Aztec Shorts: 3rd Street Clothing; Shoes: Milano (Greenhills Shopping Center).

Go for Green

"Go for Green"

Remember when we said we loved Penshoppe’s light-weight tees because of the heat? Well, with the weather dial still set to scorching, we’re happy to find another local brand that carries t-shirts that have the same feel–with designs that reflect today’s youth culture well.

Lookbook: #Chill

"Chill"

We’re going basic today. And because of that, let’s start with the… basics:

The tee is from Penshoppe’s Hashtag collection. We don’t know if they call it that, but don’t you think they should? Jeans are Folded & Hung. Shoes are, of course, Mario d’Boro. All brands? Pinoy. And all brands are affordable.

Lookbook: Casual Friday

Camo’s very in right now, and everyone seems to be wearing it!

I don’t think it’s a secret that I’m a fan of camo. But everything has to be done in moderation–especially in clothes. So for this look, we’re keeping the camo small, but still close to my heart–through the breast pocket. The shirt I’m wearing is from Mick + Marty, a brand that’s exclusively found on online store Zalora.PH; while the jeans are Bobson Originals. The cap I’m wearing here is from Penshoppe–as is the belt I’m wearing that you can’t see in any of the photos. The shoes are Janoskis from Nike SB, the socks are from Uniqlo, and because I like know what time it is–I capped the whole outfit with a watch from UniSilver Time.

In Case it Rains

"In Case it Rains"

During the rainy season in the Philippines, picking clothes is always a dilemma. Are we in for a warm day? Or should we expect heavy rain fall?

That’s why, today, we’re bring back the orange capri pants. In case it floods. And a breezy tee for in case it gets too warm. To unconventionally cap the outfit, we went with blue snakeskin loafers from Mario D’Boro that’s easy to slip off and carry… in case it floods.

You read right. We mention floods. Twice. Storm season has begun here in the Philippines, and in Metro Manila, it’s always safer to assume that it’s going to flood when you’re picking out what to wear.
