And because the heat is still not letting up, we’re going back to our orange capri pants. Nothing says Summer like citrus-colored pants, right?

Last time, we partnered the orange bottoms with a bright blue top that really played off with the contrast of colors. For this look, we’re toning it down a little bit with a graphic tee from Penshoppe. Now, a bit off-tangent, Penshoppe’s not the only brand with graphic tees. Especially here in the Philippines. The important thing to remember in getting graphic tees is to make sure the design suits your character. Or at the very least, that it doesn’t end up on your dresser never getting worn.

To give the look more character, we put Teejay back in boots from 21 Men, giving off a slightly rebellious vibe.

And to cap off the whole outfit, pardon the pun, we decided to contrast against the earth colors that Teejay’s already wearing–by having him wear a blue bonnet/beanie we got for free at one of the comic conventions we attended years ago.

A bonnet for summer? Are you kidding me? There’s no question with the colors but I say pass this time with the bonnet/beanie thing. You’re all on light material shirts etc. but going for the bonnet in a hot Manila summer is ridiculous.

    • While we agree in skipping the bonnet for when it’s ridiculously hot outside, we stand by our decision to keep the bonnet with the outfit during our shoot. There is the option of putting it in the back pocket if it gets too hot.

Thanks for the feedback nonetheless, Zeke! It’s very much appreciated–and sound. Not everyone can pull this look off without getting, quite literally, hot-headed. 😉
